How does FeedbackPro work?

Choose your creative or choose the express option when you need feedback fast. In each of their bios you can view which disciplines they will give feedback on including acting, dancing and singing.

1

After ordering, you will receive an email with questions on what feedback you would like to hear and details on how to submit your self-tape or your question when you are ready (tapes 5 min max.)

2

Once submitted, you will receive a voice note with feedback from your chosen creative. Feedback will be returned within the week, unless you’ve chosen the express 24 hour option.

3

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Unless you have chosen the express option, feedback will be returned within the week, and sometimes within 48 hours of your tape being received by Street Theatre. Please mention if you have a specific time frame you are working towards when you submit your tape.

There is a 24 hour express option which means your tape will be sent to any of the incredible creatives that have experience in your area of discipline.

Please note working hours are Monday-Friday.

  • You will receive your feedback via a voice-note forwarded to you from WhatsApp by the team at Street Theatre.

  • After you purchase a feedback review, you will be sent an email with questions that you are encouraged to fill out and send across with your tape for the creative which will help them give you relevant feedback.

You are also welcome to ask a questions instead of submitting a tape. This could include getting opinions on your Spotlight, showreel, or any other number of industry questions, like how to get started!

  • Only one team member at Street Theatre and the specific creative will see your self-tape. Once the feedback has been given your tape will be deleted by all parties.

The example tapes you see on our website and on social media have all been approved with the various actors and dancers.

  • -You can submit an informal or a formal self-tape. You will be given feedback based on your performance, not how professional your tape looks.

-You are also welcome to submit a tape to get feedback on your set-up if you are planning on submitting to agents or Casting Directors.

-It is always best to film in landscape.

-We recommend filming in a room with soft furnishings as our creatives will be able to hear you best this way.

-Please keep your tape under 5 minutes.

  • You are welcome to ask any question you might have relating to the performing arts. Feel free to add in a few questions for the creative.

    Here are some examples:

How do I get an agent?

What’s the best way to showcase myself on Spotlight?

How do I get auditions for Musical Theatre?

Can I ask for feedback on my showreel/vocal reel?

Do I have to be a member of Spotlight?

    Should I join equity?

What should I wear to auditions?

Do I need to be off-book for scenes in auditions?

Can you recommend a singing or acting teacher?

If I’m seen for a recall, can I wear and sing the same as the first audition?

Which colleges are best for acting/singing/dancing?

  • Take a look at the creative’s bios. You will be able to see which disciplines they offer including singing, dancing and acting.

  • All purchased sessions last for 12 months. If you don’t submit within the first month, we can not guarantee your chosen creative will still be available, but you will be welcome to choose another creative when you submit your tape or question.

  • Workshops with Casting Directors are educational and should never be considered a job interview or audition. Attending workshops is not a way to obtain employment as an actor. The presence of a Casting Director is neither a guarantee nor a promise of employment. Contact with a Casting Director at a workshop rarely results in any further contact with that Casting Director or any company affiliated with that Casting Director.

  • Not at all! Each creative on the FeedbackPro team was selected because of their kindness and desire to help actors and dancers reach their potential (in addition to their very impressive credits). Many of the creatives have even spent time teaching at some of the top drama schools. They know this is not an audition or formal tape and are keen to help you excel!
